The RFMF is a “life-style” organization. Unlike other cancer prevention and research foundations that are medically driven, the RFMF encourages everyone to consider the way they manage their lives and make better choices. We want you to play outside and enjoy the sun – just be Sun Smart!

Our mission to educate everyone 12 years old and up about the steps they can take to prevent skin cancer and in particular melanoma. Awareness is the essence of this mission and to bring awareness to the greater community, the RFMF will work with role models that are respected, admired and emulated by our target population.

RFMF will establish relationships with corporate, community and healthcare organizations as well as professional sports leagues and teams that align with the mission of RFMF. These relationships will serve as the foundation for resource and revenue generation to support RFMF activities.

We strive to make applying sunscreen as commonplace today as wearing a seatbelt when in a car or a safety helmet when riding a bike.
