How to Apply

Ray Festa Melanoma Foundation Scholarship

The Ray Festa Melanoma Foundation is offering a $10,000 college scholarship to a Montclair High School senior. The scholarship will be paid to the student’s college in 4 consecutive yearly installments of $2,500.

Should the student fail to be enrolled in the college they have identified in their application during that 4 year period, the Foundation reserves the right to terminate the scholarship.

The Ray Festa Melanoma Foundation Scholarship is not an academic scholarship. Rather, the scholarship will be awarded to the student who most closely embodies the spirit of Ray Festa, who demonstrated leadership skills, athleticism, and a commitment to the betterment of Montclair.

Qualification Criteria

As such, the following criteria will be evaluated in selecting the scholarship recipient::

• Active in Community Service, Especially in the Montclair High School Chapter of the Ray Festa Melanoma Foundation

• Active in High School Athletics

• Demonstrates an Entrepreneurial Spirit

• Exhibits Leadership, Commitment and Enthusiasm in All Aspects of High School and Community Life.

Please note that it is imperative that any applicant perform their own due diligence to ensure that receipt of this scholarship does not jeopardize their NCAA eligibility, ability to receive financial aid or any other scholarships.
